P.E. Blomstedt Collection
Architect Pauli Ernesti Blomstedt (1900-1935) was one of the leading representatives of functionalism in Finland.
His main works include Liittopankki (Union Bank) in Helsinki, Hotel Pohjanhovi in Rovaniemi and Kannonkoski church. P.E. Blomstedt was an uncompromising modernist and his works represent the most mature achievements of Finnish Functionalism.
P.E. Blomstedt’s steel pipe furniture were among the most modern furniture designs of the early 20th century. Today they are as beautiful as ever. P.E.Blomstedt furniture has been manufactured by Tetrimäki, in Finland, since the beginning of 90’s.
